Its architectural appearance is based on the concept of “Oriental Crown†and expresses the inner spirit and temperament of Chinese culture. According to the nature of the building and the lighting plan of the Expo site, the lighting design of the China Pavilion is required. At night, it should be able to show the majestic appearance of the China Pavilion, truly restore the color characteristics of the Chinese Red in the China Pavilion, and further highlight the importance of China’s solemnity. The image of the country conveys the Chinese trait culture and the Chinese hospitality tradition to the people of the world. At the same time, how to embody the characteristics and overall sense of the appearance of the Chinese pavilion in the grand Expo Park, and realize the communication and coordination of the internal and external space, unify the Chinese culture and modern architectural perception, and become the key consideration in lighting design. 2 Design basis The night lighting design of the China Pavilion is planned by the Tongji Planning and Design Institute, "2010 Shanghai World Expo Park Night Lighting Plan", "Expo Park Night Lighting Master Planning and Design Guidelines", "Expo Stadium Important Building Lighting Design Guidelines", "World Expo Guidelines for the application of energy efficient lighting technology, etc. are design guidelines. In addition, it has repeatedly communicated with the Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology and the China Pavilion Project Management Department of the China Pavilion Architectural Design Unit to determine the basic lighting design tone, which is mainly reflected in the following three aspects: Realizing architectural lighting and environment Harmony; show the humanistic charm of architecture; use green lighting technology. Among them, harmony reflects the sustainable development concept, showing the co-prosperity of human activities and the natural environment; humanity reflects the cultural connotation of architecture, showing the history and wisdom of human development condensed in the building; green lighting reflects The latest technology in lighting development demonstrates the advancement of lighting technology in technology and human care. 3 low carbon concept of lighting design The theme of the Shanghai World Expo is the coordinated development of the city and the environment. As a large-scale construction of the Expo site in the history of the Expo, how to achieve green energy conservation is a problem faced by every building. For the huge Chinese pavilion, in the lighting Green energy conservation must be considered at the beginning of the design. To achieve the overall goal of green energy conservation, the use of low-carbon and efficient light sources and luminaire products is crucial. Through the analysis and comparison of various light sources, combined with the Chinese Pavilion lighting design concept, the new high-efficiency LED lighting source is finally determined as the main light source of the Chinese Pavilion night lighting, combined with high-efficiency ceramic metal halide lamps. While meeting the design effect of night lighting, minimize energy consumption to achieve green energy saving. If the Chinese pavilion uses all traditional light sources for illumination, it is estimated that the power consumption will reach 600KW. However, the special distribution of the power station in the China Pavilion is less than 300 KW for night lighting. Therefore, objectively speaking, LED lighting is required. 4 China Pavilion Lighting Design Located in the center of the Pudong area of ​​the Expo Park, the China Pavilion is one of the core buildings of the Shanghai World Expo. It consists of a national pavilion with a building area of ​​20,000 square meters, a regional pavilion of 30,000 square meters and a Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan pavilion with a total area of ​​3,000 square meters. The design scope is bounded by the red line of the construction site of the Expo China Pavilion. The design target is outdoor landscape, plaza and greenery. The total area is about 82,000 square meters, mainly including three parts: 1 0. 0m elevation landscape surrounding the building and the main entrance south square; 213. 0m elevation of the city square at the top of the pavilion; 360. 0m elevation national pavilion viewing platform; In early January 2009, after deciding to participate in the lighting design task of the China Pavilion, we started with the architecture of the China Pavilion, accurately grasped the architectural structure and design concept, and at the same time, met the Expo slogan of “Best city, Best life†and established the original lighting design. concept. In architecture, the China Pavilion consists of two parts: the National Pavilion and the Regional Pavilion. The spatial position and orientation of these two parts respectively reflect the understanding of the relationship between “day†and “land†by Eastern philosophy. The National Pavilion is a "day", and the sculpture-like styling main body - "The Crown of the East" stands tall and stands in a strong position; the regional pavilion is "land", which extends like a pedestal under the National Pavilion. Connotation, the combination of lighting and architecture, environment, coordination of traditional culture, the relationship between traditional architecture, sublimation of the cultural heritage of the China Pavilion, the grand image of the country, the modern characteristics of the Chinese civilization of thousands of years. In effect, according to the unique architectural appearance and structure of the China Pavilion, the open and transparent night scene effect is created, and the light and shadow changes from top to bottom are reflected through the window leakage, cloud shadow and other methods, reflecting the traditional Chinese cultural effects. It is mainly composed of the following lighting concepts: the window of the window (see Figure 1), the building in the cloud (see Figure 2), the crown of China (see Figure 3), the Chinese (see Figure 4), and the silhouette of the text (see Figure 5). The advantage of the original Chinese pavilion night lighting design scheme is that by combining the perfect combination of LED lighting and building beam structure, the lighting itself is hidden to the utmost extent on the basis of ensuring the above lighting concept effects, thus achieving a better realization.
