Leakage protector wiring method:

1. Select different leakage protectors according to the power supply mode of different electrical equipment.

1) For single-phase 220V power supply electrical equipment, two-pole two-wire or single-pole two-wire leakage protector should be used.

2) Three-phase three-wire 380V power supply electrical equipment should use three-pole leakage protector.

3) Three-phase four-wire 380V power supply electrical equipment or single-phase equipment and three-phase equipment shared circuit, should use three-pole four-wire or four-pole four-wire leakage protector.

2. According to the normal leakage current of the electric circuit, select the rated leakage current of the leakage protector.

1) When selecting the rated leakage current value of the leakage protector, the normal leakage current value that may occur in the protected line and equipment should be fully considered.

2) The rated leakage current of the selected leakage protector should be less than twice the maximum value of the normal leakage current of the electrical circuit and equipment.

3) The rated voltage, rated current, short-circuit breaking capacity, rated leakage current and breaking time of the leakage protector shall meet the requirements of the protected power supply line and electrical equipment.

Leakage protector wiring error mode:

1. For branch line protection, each branch line shall have its own dedicated neutral line, and the zero lines of two adjacent branch lines shall not be connected. If the two branch lines are connected, the currents in the zero line flow in each other, destroying the working current balance in the zero-sequence current transformer, causing the leakage protector to malfunction. If you want to use the neutral line of the power branch line as the zero line of the lighting branch line, the leakage protector of the power branch line will be operated.

2. A power supply device can only be connected in one protection branch, not in two branch circuits, and should not be connected in front of the zero-sequence transformer, nor should it be powered by one line and one ground. Otherwise, it will lead to leakage. The protector malfunctions.

3. The electrical equipment equipped with the leakage protector and the unprotected leakage protector shall not share a grounding device. For example, when the insulation of the motor M1 is damaged and the outer casing is charged, the outer casing of the motor M2 is also charged, and since the current does not pass through the leakage protector, it does not function as a leakage protection.

4. Single-phase load should be distributed as evenly as possible. If the distribution is uneven (such as one-phase line is too long and the equipment is concentrated), the leakage current is too large for one phase with heavy load, so the three-phase unbalanced leakage current of the main line increases, and when it reaches a certain value, the main line is made. The leakage protector at the head end operates.

5. The protected line (including the working zero line) should pass through the through-hole of the zero-sequence current transformer and the leakage protector. The three-pole three-pole leakage protector should not be replaced by the three-pole leakage protector. If it is a three-phase five-wire system, the protective earth wire must not pass through the transformer of the leakage protector, but must be connected to the zero main line of the front end (incoming end) of the first pole leakage protector or the repeated grounding pole.

Leakage protector connection precautions:

1. The neutral line on the load side of the leakage protector shall not be shared with other circuits.

2. When the leakage protector is marked with the load side and the power supply side, the wiring should be installed according to the regulations, and must not be reversed.

3. Install a leakage protector with short-circuit protection, and ensure that there is enough arcing distance in the direction of arc discharge. The arcing distance is determined by the manufacturer of the leakage protector.

4. The neutral line and the protection line must be strictly distinguished during installation. The neutral line of the three-pole four-wire or four-pole leakage protector should be connected to the leakage protector. The neutral line passing through the leakage protector shall not be used as a protection line, and shall not be repeatedly grounded or connected to the outside of the device to conduct conductive parts. The protective wire must not be connected to the leakage protection device.
