The Mitsubishi FX series plc has 20 or 27 basic logic instructions, 2 step instructions, and more than 100 function instructions (different series). This section takes FX2N as an example to introduce its basic logic instructions and stepping instructions and their applications. FX2N has a total of 27 basic logic instructions, including 20 basic logic instructions of some sub-series PLCs. Set and Reset Instructions (SET/RST) (1) SET (Set Instruction) Its purpose is to set and hold the target component being operated. (2) RST (Reset command) Resets the target component being operated and keeps it clear. The use of the SET and RST instructions is shown in Figure 1. When X0 is normally on, Y0 is turned ON and remains in this state, even if X0 is turned off, Y0 remains unchanged; only when X1 is normally open and closed, Y0 is turned OFF and remains. Even if X1 is normally open and disconnected, Y0 is still in the OFF state. The use of the SET and RST instructions for the use of the set and reset instructions: 1) The target components of the SET instruction are Y, M, S, and the target components of the RST instruction are Y, M, S, T, C, D, V, Z. The RST instruction is often used to clear the contents of D, Z, and V. It is also used to reset the integrated timer and counter. 2) For the same target component, SET and RST can be used multiple times, and the order can also be arbitrary, but the final performer is valid.
