Every industry has a terminology. Have you learned about the terminology of the water purifier industry? With professional terminology to better engage in the water purification industry, the following are the 15 terminology of the water purifier industry. Take it with you.

1. Suspended matter in water

The suspended solids in water are particles having a particle diameter of about 0.1 μm or more, which are visible to the naked eye. These particles are mainly composed of sediment, protozoa, algae, bacteria, viruses, and high molecular organic substances, and are often suspended in a water stream to produce turbidity of water. Suspended matter is the main source of turbidity, color, and odor.

Second, the colloidal substance in the water

The colloidal substance in water refers to particles having a diameter between 0.1 and 0.001 microns. Colloids are a collection of many molecules and ions, including inorganic colloids such as iron, aluminum, silicon compounds, organic colloids such as plant or animal limbs that decay and decompose to form humus.

Third, dissolved substances in water

The dissolved matter in water is fine particles having a diameter of less than or equal to 0.001 μm. It is mainly various ions and gases of dissolved salts which are soluble in water and which are present in low molecular weight.

Fourth, the turbidity of water

Since the water contains suspended matter and colloidal particles, the water which is originally colorless and transparent is turbid, and the degree of turbidity is called turbidity. Turbidity is the effect of impurities such as suspended matter, colloidal substances, plankton and microorganisms of different sizes, different relative densities, different shapes in water.

Five, the hardness of water

The concentration of some metal ions in water, such as calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, zinc, etc., generally the content of iron, manganese, zinc and other ions in water is small, can be omitted. The total concentration of calcium and magnesium is usually regarded as the hardness of water.

Sixth, the TDS value of water

TDS represents the total dissolved solids content in water, including dissolved salts in water, as well as organic matter. Solids in water are classified into soluble solids and suspended solids. Dissolved solids are various inorganic salts, organic substances, etc. that are still soluble in water after filtration. Suspended solids are those suspended in sediments, organic matter, microorganisms, etc. that are insoluble in water.

7. Residual chlorine in water

One of the processes used by the water company to treat tap water is to add liquid chlorine. The remainder of the reaction between chlorine and water and the reaction product are collectively referred to as residual chlorine, which is a carcinogen.

Eight, scale

Hard materials such as water, microbes, and colloidal rust adhere to the wall of the pipe or where it comes into contact with water.

Nine, PH value

Water has soluble alkalinity and acidity. If the two are equal, the pH of the water is 7, which can be considered neutral. Water having a pH of less than 7 is acidic. Excessive acidity can cause corrosion, discoloration, and odors in equipment.

Ten, acidity

The state of water having a pH of less than 7. Acidic water has a sour taste.

Eleven, alkalinity

The state of water with a pH greater than 7 can be used to neutralize acidic water. Alkaline water has a bitter taste.

Twelve, hard water

Water containing high levels of soluble calcium and higher levels of magnesium is commonly found in limestone areas and is expressed in grams per gallon of water. When heated, hard water produces scale, which can cause clogging of catering equipment such as coffee machines, ice makers and cooking equipment.

Thirteen, brackish water

English name brackishwater, alkaliwater, water with a basicity greater than hardness, and contains a large amount of neutral salt, PH value greater than 7. China's brackish water is mainly distributed in the northern and eastern coastal areas. There are more than 38 million people drinking brackish water in rural areas. Brackish water is mainly bitter and bitter, and it is difficult to drink directly. Long-term drinking causes gastrointestinal dysfunction and low immunity.

14. Dissolved oxygen

Dissolved oxygen refers to the amount of oxygen dissolved in water, which is closely related to temperature, pressure, and biochemical action of microorganisms. At a certain temperature, the water can only dissolve a certain amount of oxygen at most, for example, at 20 ° C, the dissolved oxygen saturation value of distilled water is 9.17 mg / L.

Fifteen, suspended solids

Refers to the amount of solid matter in the sewage that can be trapped by the filter. A part of the suspended solid can be precipitated under certain conditions. The determination of suspended solids is usually carried out by asbestos filter filtration.

Modular Plugs

We are Manufacturer and Supplier to offer modular plugs in standard configurations to terminate modular cords for patching or work area applications. Our Modular plugs can be terminated to the exact cable length needed in order to maintain a neater, more organized installation. The modular plugs terminate twisted-pair cable with 26 - 22 AWG (0.40mm - 0.64mm) solid or 7-strand conductors with an insulated conductor diameter of 0.86 - 0.99mm (0.034 - 0.039 in.). All modular plug contacts have 50 microinches minimum of gold plating over nickel and meet TIA-968-A and IEC 60603-7 specifications.

Modular Plug is the name given to a family of electrical connectors originally used in telephone wiring and now used for many other purposes. Many applications that originally used a bulkier, more expensive connector have now migrated to modular connectors. Probably the most well known applications of modular connectors are for telephone jacks and for Ethernet jacks, both of which are nearly always Modular Connectors.

Modular Connectors were originally used with the registered jack system, which precisely describes how the connectors are wired for telecommunications. The registered jack specifications define the wiring patterns of the jacks, not the physical dimensions or geometry of the connectors of either gender. Instead, these latter aspects are covered by ISO standard 8877, first used in ISDN systems. TIA/EIA-568 is a standard for data circuits wired on Modular Plug&Connectors.

Other systems exist for assigning signals to modular connectors; physical interchangeability of plugs and jacks does not ensure interoperation, nor protection from electrical damage to circuits. For example, modular cables and connectors have been used to supply low-voltage AC or DC power and no clear standard exists for this application.
