According to the latest survey report of the High-tech LED Industry Research Institute (GLII), the price of LED fluorescent tubes in China continued to decrease in the first quarter of 2013, and the decline was large. Compared with 2012Q4, the average price of LED fluorescent lamps dropped to 12%.

Prices continue to fall in the first quarter
Although the demand for lighting in the first quarter showed rapid growth, the phenomenon of oversupply was obvious, and the average price of LED fluorescent tubes fell by more than 10%, as shown in the following table: 
In the first quarter of 2013, the price of LED fluorescent tubes in the Chinese mainland market fluctuated greatly, with an average decline of around 9-14%.
The decline in the second quarter is still relatively large
The High-Tech LED Industry Research Institute (GLII) expects that the price reduction of China's LED fluorescent tubes will continue in the second quarter of 2013, but the price cuts will not exceed 10%.
GLII believes that with the rapid growth of LED fluorescent tube market demand and the continuous decline in the price of LED lighting light source, LED fluorescent tube prices will continue to decline, but the decline is limited.
The latest survey report of GLII pointed out that in the first quarter of 2013, China's white LED chips showed two major trends: slower price decline and tight demand for white LED chips. The price of LED lighting sources continued to drop sharply, which was conducive to the stability of LED fluorescent tubes.
Affected by the stable decline in the price of LED lighting sources and lighting fixtures, the decline in the price of LED fluorescent tubes in China will decrease quarter by quarter.
