LilipuTIng said that other requirements are related to performance. For example, the GPU and display must be able to synchronize access to the pre-buffer, ensuring that no visible tearing occurs when displaying virtual reality content. Since these features are usually not printed on the box, the user must wait for the phone manufacturer or Google to declare that the phone supports Daydream.
