Tesla said in an official blog that the first fatal accident occurred in the more than 130 million miles (about 210 million kilometers) of driving enabled in the Autopilot model.

According to Tesla: "The higher truck body, the special road location, and the rare environment caused the Model S to crash into the truck, and the bottom of the truck hit the front windshield of the Model S."

Tesla also pointed out: "Autopilot is getting better and better, but it is not perfect, so drivers need to be vigilant.
