Topic: Applications Recently, HolidayLEDs in Jackson, Michigan, is actively preparing for a more “green” Christmas. To encourage the public to adopt LED holiday lights, HolidayLEDS is supplying LED lamps that can replace C9 incandescent lamps and have the same price as incandescent lamps.
If Michigan's current C9 incandescent lamps are all replaced with energy-efficient LED Christmas lights, power consumption will drop to 389 kWh, costing only $30, saving Michigan nearly $3,000 a year in electricity bills.
On the other hand, LED lamps have a long service life and can be used for several years. The Michigan government no longer has to deal with used lamps. Reusable fixtures can save Michigan about $2,200 a year. According to the current utilization of Michigan, the new LED lamps can continue to use 50 Christmas.
At present, LED lamps supplied by HolidayLEDS have been used in the Christmas tree of Capital Law in Washington, DC, and the Rockefeller Center in New York City.
