To support flexible production and meet customer demands, Delta provides a comprehensive system using the DVP-15MC series as the core, combined with the ASDA-A2 servo drive, ECMA AC servo motor, and other high-precision components. This setup ensures accurate and high-speed motion control across multiple axes. As shown in the figure, Delta’s DVP-15MC series is equipped with an external encoder, acting as the main controller. It integrates elements like the DOP-B series Touch Screen, RTU-DNET remote DeviceNet module, and DeviceNet master module, allowing real-time monitoring and adjustment of encoder positions. The system can store up to 100 different vehicle data sets, which can be accessed at any time. Additionally, programs can be modified and downloaded online, enabling flexible motion control. In terms of motion control, Delta utilizes the ASDA-A2 servo drive, which includes advanced features such as electronic cam functions and high-speed pulse position comparison. These capabilities allow the ECMA series AC servo motors to perform high-precision, high-speed, and synchronized movements, ensuring accurate machining operations. After the installation of the electrical cabinet, Delta conducted detailed debugging to fully understand the movement requirements of the assembly line. They also trained the customer’s engineers in programming and debugging the DVP-15MC series, as well as integrating multi-axis synchronization. This ensured that the assembly line could achieve the precise multi-axis positioning required for passenger car production. The DVP-15MC controller, capable of controlling 24 real axes simultaneously, offers multiple motion control modes, rich port integration, strong hardware expansion capabilities, and an intuitive programming interface.
