Although the quad-core smart phone is still in the popularization stage, the battle of the eight-core has quietly started. With the passage of time into the second half of 2013, when the battle between the smartphone's CPU nuclear war and the main frequency showed fatigue, MediaTek released the global The first "true eight-core" processor MT6592. This is undoubtedly stirring up the pool of smart phone nuclear war.

MediaTek, a rising star in the field of global mobile phone processors, was ahead of the big brother Qualcomm, and officially released the eight-core processor MT 6592. This processor has not yet been on the market, it has already stirred up a burst of gunpowder in the industry.

The market has reacted differently, with mixed reviews. Some people think that no matter whether the eight-core is useful or not, for mobile phone manufacturers and consumers, there is at least a "gimmick" value. Some analysts said that the saturation of market demand will lead to the popularity of eight-core. Anand Chandrasekher, senior vice president of Qualcomm, said that Qualcomm has no plans to launch an eight-core processor at this stage, and even thinks it is foolish and meaningless to pursue the number of cores blindly. But Huawei HiSilicon said it would follow up and will launch an eight-core processor in the second half of this year.

It seems familiar to Qualcomm that when Intel introduced the Atom Z2480 single-core 2GHz processor, it said something similar-the number of processor cores is not unique, and efficiency is king.

ARM architecture is the deciding factor

According to ARM's overall strategy, at least in the short term, the A 15 eight-core is geared towards IT products such as servers, not smartphones. ARM has prepared large and small core configurations for smartphones, and manufacturers can use 4+ 4 dual quad cores to build their own mobile phone processors. Samsung's flagship smartphone Gal-axyS4's eight-core processor Exynos 5 Octa released in March this year uses this 4 + 4 structure. This 4 + 4 core is not really an eight core, because it can only work with up to four cores at the same time. MediaTek's eight-core processor MT6592 does achieve eight-core simultaneous work, but it uses eight A7s, which is a little. Little means that it integrates eight small cores, and how the actual performance needs to be verified. If Qualcomm wants to develop an eight-core processor, it needs a new architecture to arrange the eight cores reasonably. Presumably, before ARM has introduced a new architecture, Qualcomm is unlikely to follow the eight-core boom.

The way to balance: power consumption and performance

This is an era of excess hardware performance. For mobile phones, most of the software can run normally even under single-core conditions. Correspondingly, it is still "most"-most software has not been designed and optimized for multi-core parallelism.

The increase in the number of cores will also bring about another problem, that is, power consumption. The more the number of processor cores, the more difficult the manufacturer's power management strategy.

After the launch of the Samsung S4 octa-core version using the Samsung octa-core processor Exynos 5 Octa, users continue to complain about power consumption and heat issues, which is derived from this less mature pseudo-octa-core.

Choice of future direction

The performance of quad-core and eight-core processors is now far ahead of the needs of software and applications. In the future, some chip manufacturers may focus on GPU upgrades and overall performance optimization.

Putting the GPU upgrade in sync with the processor or even higher, Apple has made such a choice, which is likely to be Qualcomm's route choice in the future.

Wall Socket Expansion allowing you to expand one in wall socket to multi outlets, as well as to add more functions, e.g. socket plus USB ports, or with surge protector, or with overload protection.

- Multiple Outlets allowing you to plug in multiple electrical devices.

- Compact Wall Expansion is also convenience as travel power adapter from its weight and size point of view.

- PC/ABS flame retardant, phosphor bronze+pure copper.

- Space saving and cost saving

We have been doing OEM service for Germany customer since the very beginning time when we started power strip manufacturing.

Now we still continue with OEM/ODM services and doing our own design as well.
