In 2001, CLP Lighting entered the Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park and established a lighting technology center. Focusing R&D efforts on products in differentiated market segments, creating distinctive development ideas and striving to establish a unique image in the industry.
"In the era of individualization, the unique lighting design is more attractive to the audience, which is very important for current commercial lighting." Song Jindi said. Song Jindi does not agree with the development model of similar products in the market for lamps and lanterns. "We don't recommend ordinary LED bulbs, LEDs, T8 tubes, etc. Popularized products can only compete with others for price, and Different people can have high profits. Intelligentization is one of the development directions of the future lighting industry. The differentiated product strategy of CLP Lighting coincides with the intelligent development trend. Song Jindi said that at first the company had fewer applications for appearance patents, but the practice proved that the novelty and uniqueness of the appearance can not be used for the whole product.
However, the current LED lighting design is basically born out of traditional lighting, copied to traditional lighting, and has not really played the role of LED. Song Jindi pointed out: "Although the development of LED lighting is very fast, it is still in the replacement stage of traditional light sources. Lighting fixtures are mostly transitional products, which limits the advantages of LED lighting."
