On the afternoon of October 29th, the "Filial Piety Project," a collaborative initiative between Jiangsu Cable and the Information Center of the National Aging Office, was officially launched. This marked the debut of the first comprehensive service platform specifically designed for the elderly, aiming to enhance their digital experience and make technology more accessible and user-friendly. The project takes into account the unique viewing habits of seniors, offering a tailored solution that simplifies navigation and content discovery. In collaboration with Xiao Persimmon TV, Jiangsu Cable's Technology Research Institute developed an AI-powered voice assistant named Xiaole, which helps users search for and recommend programs based on their preferences. This intelligent system uses artificial intelligence and big data to provide a more convenient and personalized experience for elderly users. Xiao Persimmon TV is an AI-driven product developed by Beijing Vision Interactive Technology Co., Ltd. It leverages edge computing capabilities of smart devices to create a seamless connection between people, devices, content, and AI engines. By integrating smart home applications, it transforms how users interact with their living environment, making daily tasks easier and more efficient. As a broadcasting and telecommunications operator, Xiao Persimmon TV has successfully entered the market, offering a new way for the elderly to engage with media and smart home technologies. The launch of this project not only highlights the importance of digital inclusivity but also sets a new standard for technology designed with the needs of seniors in mind. With continued innovation, such initiatives can significantly improve the quality of life for older adults, helping them stay connected, informed, and engaged in the digital world.
