Beijing, China, June 30, 2015 - Xilinx Corporation (NASDAQ: XLNX) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China Mobile Research Institute (CMRI) for the development of Next Generation Prequeph (NGFI), both of which are mobile A grand signing ceremony was held at the NGFI seminar held by the institute. With the advent of 5G wideband multi-antenna systems, Xilinx and CMRI are working together on emerging technologies such as C-RAN, large antenna systems and 3D MIMO to jointly develop key technologies and components for new wireless network front-end interfaces.

Dr. Yi Zhiling, chief scientist of China Mobile Research Institute, said, “It is time to rethink the pre-transmission solution, which is crucial to solve the main challenges of CRAN deployment. We are working hard to create a new efficient and flexible forward solution. Supporting the deployment of large-scale CRAN projects, working with Xilinx will certainly accelerate the development of this solution."

In the current wireless system, the baseband device and the radio unit are connected through the CPRI preamble network protocol, and the bandwidth growth rate is rapid, requiring operators to lay more and more fiber optic cables, resulting in a substantial increase in deployment costs. The development of wireless networks in the future tends to be a centralized baseband architecture, which will inevitably pose greater challenges to the pre-transmission network, and new technologies are needed to improve the pre-transmission agreement. Xilinx All Programmable devices and design environments will serve as an important enabler to support the development of this interface and future wireless systems.

Xilinx

Through its Zynq® SoC platform, Xilinx is building a proven NGFI reference design for the NGFI ecosystem. This reference design can be easily migrated to other Zynq and ZynqUltraScale+MPSoC devices and is expected to be the benchmark for 4.5G/5G wireless preamble network research.

Sunil Kar, vice president of wireless communications at Xilinx, said: "The current 'hard' mobile networks have some serious challenges, including time to market, service innovation, energy efficiency, cost control and interoperability. Working closely with the hospital, we are working hard to address these challenges and provide key technologies and components for the next generation of highly optimized forward interface designs."

For more information about NGFI, you can get more information by downloading the latest NGFI White Paper from the NGFI conference. This white paper covers the evolving NGFI, design principles, application scenarios, possible solutions, and other technical aspects related to NGFI. It also provides an effective reference for the future evolution of wireless access networks.

Laser Scanner

Laser radar contains LSPD safety laser scanner and LS laser radar. LSPD safety laser scanner is type 3 with CE certificate. It can be used for agv safety and industrial area protection. LS laser radar is for agv guide. Many famous agv manufacturers has installed LS laser radar to guide their agvs. Feedback from customers are quite posotive.
