This advanced solution is specifically designed to support DDR4 SDRAM modules in high-speed PCs and notebooks, while also maintaining compatibility with earlier DDR2 and DDR3 platforms. The 34AA04 represents a significant step forward in memory technology for modern computing systems. Engineered for the competitive consumer electronics market, the 34AA04 operates across a wide voltage range of 1.7V to 3.6V, making it highly adaptable for various applications. It adheres to the JEDEC JC42.4 (EE1004-v) SPD standard and is fully compatible with DDR4 SDRAM modules. The device features four independent 128 x 8-bit memory blocks, offering reversible software write protection and enhanced SMBus-compatible bus timeout functionality. With a page write capability of up to 16 bytes, it ensures efficient data handling and reliability. The 34AA04 is backward compatible with existing DDR2 and DDR3 SPD EEPROMs. To ensure seamless integration, its memory array is divided into two 256-byte partitions that can be stacked with previous generation SPD EEPROM architectures. This design flexibility allows the device to be used in a broad range of consumer electronics products, including PCs, notebooks, and graphics cards.
