Operating procedures

Evaluate the patient and inform the patient or family members about relevant matters.

Connect the monitor to the power supply and check the performance after starting up.

Check the patient, take the supine or semi-recumbent position, undress, expose the chest of the patient, wipe the skin of the corresponding part with an alcohol cotton ball (pay attention to protecting the privacy of the patient)

Attach the electrodes to the corresponding parts to cover the chest of the patient.

The blood pressure cuff is tied to the two transverse fingers on the patient's elbow fossa, palpating the brachial artery pulsation.

The blood oxygen saturation is clamped on the patient's finger or toe.

Choose the appropriate lead and amplitude according to the condition, adjust the upper and lower alarm lines, and set the frequency of blood pressure measurement according to the condition.

Downtime

Process

Shut down in accordance with the doctor's instructions, and explain to the patient when it is stopped; shut down first, then disconnect the power supply.

Remove the electrode, sphygmomanometer cuff, blood oxygen saturation sensor, etc.

Clean the skin, assist patients in dressing, tidy up bed units and supplies, record and sign.

Upper right ( RA )

The first intercostal space of the midclavicular line of the right sternum

Upper left ( LA ):

The first intercostal space of the midline of the clavicle on the left edge of the sternum

Lower left ( LL ):

At the level of the xiphoid process of the left midclavicular line;

Operating procedures

Assess the patient's condition, breathing pattern, psychological response, and explain to obtain cooperation;

Connect the pipeline and air source in the ventilator room, adjust the preset parameters, connect the test lung, and test the machine;

Bring the things to the bed, check the patient, get cooperation, turn on the power, connect the oxygen source, and turn on;

Bring a hood and face mask to the patient, and connect the ventilator to the patient's airway closely;

Observe the reaction of the patient and the operation of the ventilator, and set the alarm parameters correctly;

Observe and record the ventilator ventilation mode, parameters, patient response, effect and time;

Stop flow

Explain to the patient and get cooperation;

Take off the headgear and the mask of the ventilator, disconnect the oxygen source-turn off-disconnect the power supply;

Inhale oxygen for the patient's nasal catheter and make up the bed unit;

The ventilator pipeline and face mask are sent to the supply room for sterilization, the head cover is cleaned and disinfected, and the surface of the ventilator is wiped with alcohol;

Operating procedures

Assess the condition, airway patency and hypoxia;

Connect the suction device-open the switch-check the performance-adjust the negative pressure-close the switch;

Check the patient, explain-turn over, pat the back-turn the patient's head to the operator; the unconscious patient can use a tongue depressor or mouth opener to help open the mouth.

Turn on the suction switch-wear gloves-connect the sputum tube-try aspiration of saline;

Sputum suction—tube replacement—sputum suction; after sputum suction, remove the sputum suction tube and place it in a medical waste bag;

Observe the airway patency and mucous membranes, hear breath sounds, and evaluate the patient's response;

Wipe off the mouth and nose secretions, take gloves; take a lying position; make up the bed unit; disinfect the objects; wash hands records

Operating procedures

Connect the lead wires;

Check the paper status;

Turn on (O);

Adjust the switch lead;

Adjust manually or automatically;

Start recording

Lead reset;

Stop recording

Shut down.
